Gettin back in a subaru

Do I have to do a new intro?

Sold the V12 TT gen 3
Sold the 3.0 RB
Sold the BRZ

Been driving a GQ patrol shorty. Got bored with it so dropped it to stock height, sticky road tyres, bilstein inverted mono's all round, replaced every bush, added turbo and WAIC.

But a white RS liberty wagon came up at a price I cant say no to.

It's un-molested except for white leather A/B/C/D pillars which you dont notice and I can live with.
Un crashed, good paint, decent enough interior, fresh (0km) EJ205 and gen2 GTB heads (winning). Stock VF12, few bushes and sti shocks. Just a nice daily. Its been known as 'old smokey' by the last few owners and has been serviced maybe once in 200,000km. But being a subaru, you can fix them with zip ties, old shoe soles and a jar of margerine and now it's running a treat.

So keeping an eye out now for some bits and pieces to put together something fun and simple and 120+mph.

I think I know this car. It would have been sitting in my shed had I not been dragged into a flipping expensive legal battle 4 days after the PF Christmas party.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Yeah Claytos and Tolga's beforehand.

Its a good old girl. Needs a few hours spent cleaning it, some diy on the door trims and a set of WRX wagon seats front/rear and it'll be mint inside.

Dunno bout ebay fuknwhoosh. Garrett is cheap anyway.

What legal battle yo?

Trying to pry a house back off my ex. Would be a straight forward thing, but she is a solicitor, which sucks.

Asked around in Japan(Subaru Race/Rally crew that would know not just Autobachs) about Kinugawa Turbos the other week and no-one has heard of them .The best we could come up with was they are a Chinese knockoff of a Japanese maker. I'd be steering well clear of them.

Hence why I want this cracker to buy one, and not me.

Theres nothing wrong with them, who the fuck cares where they're from?

They have EXCELLENT warranty (easily the best and fastest of any turbo you can care to buy), last for years with no issues. I thrashed the arse out of mine on the V12 (TD06 20g 8cm's), and a few mates have hammered theirs for years everything from TD05's through to TD06h's and never heard of an issue except people on rexnet/nasioc trying to justify their blouche/bbk/some other taiwanese shit with a cool name. You need to remember that Garrett, one of the best, is made in mexico...... :p

Thats not to be said they couldnt be better....But it isnt the bearing oiling and aero that lets them down, its casting quality mainly. Mine were perfect, absolutely perfect, but I've seen some with some rough edges etc.
