Hello to all

I have recently joined club liberty and thought it was about time I introduced myself.

My name is Glenn and I own a 08 liberty sedan GTB.

I recently asked for advice on rims, to which there was some very helpful advice, thanks.

I settled on the Lesanti rim 19s with 235/35/19 tyres.

The same day I got the rims I also received my new grill from China, so a very happy day it was!!

I have yet to start any performance mods, but would like to start with the exhaust and tune ASAP.

Just a bit more advice if I can... Do you think my car could use a 30mm drop with a set of king springs?

Hi Glen and welcome... nice wheels there mate!

As for your 30mm drop not sure if that would keep you above the legal minimum clearance or not (if that matters to you that is!) but the lowered look does appeal to some people.

Cheers...

Welcome. I was contemplating King Springs, for $660 fitted for front and backs it honestly wouldn't do the justice as coilovers would, in theory it's well worth waiting for a couple of extra weeks pay to get some!

if coilovers are what you want, you cant go past Kido Coil overs. Best value by far.

I got a quote from Stylish Wheels at Slacks Creek for $375 fitted!

Although after driving to Seaworld today with three passengers in the back seat, there was a small amount of scrubbing because of the stance of the new wheels! Perhaps the lowering might be off the cards!
