WRX Owner comtemplating a Liberty..

Postby dkthunder » Thu Sep 27, 2012 9:04 am

Hey guys Ive had my CSE8 for a year or so then got a boxer (30+ kg so fair big) so its a pain putting him in the back seat.
Therefore after a wagon, ive done research into many sports wagons out as i contemplated getting something cheap and reliable or something nice lol
Still more research to do on the GT Spec.B & GT STi Tuned wagons.
Hoping theres lots of info here and ill be in a liberty wags soon.

Hey welcome, your boxer will have plenty of room. I have a Boxer x Staffy (only 25kg) and a Lab x Staffy (35-40kg) and they have plenty of room in the back and love it. I generally have the back seats flat but they still have enough room with them up.

Hi and welcome :)

Trading the rexy on a Lib will be a move you wont regret (well I sure didn't) - My son outgrew the legroom in the rexy, there is so much more room in the Lib but still a great size car to drive around everyday. I've got a sedan as there were no manual tbSTI wagons around when I was looking to buy ... no way I'd let our dogs (2 x 30kg German Shorthaired Pointers) on the leather seats, but a wagon would be ideal for a dog.

Yah its looking more like a Spec.B wagon at the moment.
As you said not many tbSTi wags out there.
Just trying the figure out main differences between the Spec.B & tbSTi- engines the same? But tbSTi is tuned for more boost etc?

Threads on that here for sure!^ Search e.g. "tbSTi vs" etc...

If you can find a tbSTi, do it for the cool extras...
You'll want to get either stock tuned anyway so there would be little or no difference engine or performance wise after doing that.

I'd say no difference.
