G'day everyone! I've been lurking on this site since I bought my GT a couple weeks ago and thought I'd better say hello.

First I would like to say this site is very, very BAD..I promised myself that I wouldn't spend money on this car but after being on here my very weak arm has been twisted
So here is a bit of info:

Name: Paul
Ride: MY05 GT manual
Location: W.A, southern suburbs
Mod: AUX audio cable (so far)
Plans: sigh....so many plans
Year of birth:1982
Interest: Sports, Cars and Gaming
Previous Rides:
1st: '81 Gemini - Manual, worked 2Lt with twin Webber carbs. Good for around 120 hp
2nd: '99 Statesman - family car, couldn't put baby seats in a Gemi.
3rd: '02 XR6 - Manual, nice car but gutless without the turbo
4th: '02 VX SS - I went nuts on this car (post divorce  ) Worked Gen 3 with manualised auto 3500 stall. Good for 430 hp and a 12sec quarter mile :D
5th: '05 Lib - The one I'm "not spending money on"

I know there are V8 haters amongst you but you have to appriciate the power my commo put out. I wasn't one of those fucktards that leaves snakies everywhere and draged everyone I pulled up to at the lights. It was my cruiser that simply sounded awesome at idle or on the gas. I missed driving manual though so I hunted around for what I could get and found this Lib that I now love to pieces even if it hasn't got anywhere near the power.

Anyway here are some pics :D

Welcome mate, judging by your previous rides I'd say your GT won't be stock for long! Hopefully see you around on some cruises!

Yeah, it seems I just missed one this weekend...I'll get along to the family orientated cruises if there are any! I have to keep the kids in the back seat happy

Even buying an N/A doesn't help... Money will be blown regardless!

Welcome Paul

Good to see another ex-V8 Commodore owner amongst us….. last car was a NA VZ SS putting 346kw at the rears with nothing more than good old school tuning….. ported, polished, lumpy cam, forged internals etc.

Most member on here wouldn’t appreciated all that power on a RWD cause they wouldn’t know how to use it.

Thanks senator...346kw at the wheels would have been interesting! I wouldn't say most but definitely a few anyway.

Good luck Grrl! I would go old school. IMO none of the new V8s out are aesthetically pleasing but to each their own!

Sorry I missed you out…….. I’ve also been on the hunt for a few year now for an early model HDT VK/VL with original numbers……. Not easy finding something complete these days still as it left the factory.
