hi there.

my names aidan and my wife and i are now the proud owners of a 2004 liberty gt premium awd auto

a few years ago i owned a forester gt and it is the only car i ever regret selling.

last weekend my wife blew up her POS vectra and i called enough is enough. was so sick of throwing into that money pit. told her it was not getting fixed again and she had to start looking for another car.

she always liked my forester but likes sedans, so she went looking for a liberty. i suggested a GT, for the fun side hahah

yesterday we got all our hard earned and saved and got in the car to go look at 3 candidates, needless to say we found on, a great one. and it was the 1st gt we looked at for the day.

we drove from newcastle to avalon to check out this car. read great but what we found was something special....

we are now the proud owners of a...
single owner (mid age male professional) gen 4 my04 liberty GT awd premium
silver outside, black leather inside
98000 with 100k major already done

car has been serviced religiously at bill buckle subi in sydney (where he bough the car).
apart from the usual small scratch her and there and an extremely small ding the car is immaculate

the guy had every single rego paper, receipt and piece of paper he had to do with the car
the owner was great, and it was the 1st car he had ever sold, he'd always traded.

after a test drive we went back and made him an offer, $14500 cash later, and then explaining how to fill out papers and that i wanted a receipt, we were driving out

my forester had a number of mods to it and was great, however i think this will be very mild if we do anything, being the wifes daily.

i would like at least a nice subtle cat back (i think) system, posibly varax. 18inch bpec wheels and lower it maybe an inch

ill attach some photos, please let me know what you think.

we are very happy with this car

Looks like a nice buy...

When my lease runs out on my current 2012 Liberty Wagon I am going to sell the wife's XS Premium forester and look at a Gen 4 GT or 3L Spec B sedan... Otherwise maybe a nicely modified Gen V as there should be a few early versions modded hopefully around here that have been carefully looked after!

Wow sounds like you got a really great buy there for $14500 cash, considering how well you say the car has been serviced and looked after, etc. Keep looking after it and i'm sure it will look after you :)

Congrats on the buy, hope the wife is happy (that's the main thing), and welcome! :D
