+1, did you need to change out your injectors/fuel pump at all along with the tune?

Nothing to change for the H6, genuine injectors and fuel pump are just enough!
I just have a remap, and if I want to return to Unlead98, I have to change the .hex with my netbook and a 20$ VAG OBD2 cable in few minutes.
The guy who worked on my car use to tune Turbo cars, Subaru and Mitsubishi Lancer, where power and torque increase is more important than NA cars, 30 or 40 HP more only with E85 remap, but I don't know if he change injectors and pump on those cars.
Mine was the first H6 he remaped (very few of this car in France).

Do you have E85 stations enough in Australia?
Only 300 in France, the nearest one is about 30 km from my home, I use jerrycans...

Many thanks for welcome messages!

Very interesting indeed!

What is your average fuel consumption with E85? We can get it here in Australia but availability is a bit hit and miss.

CEVENN

Welcome to the forum, I can vouch for the fact that these cars are SUPER RARE in France - in 2 visits I have not yet seen a H6 Liberty/Legacy, but the moment you come within 40km of the Swiss border then you start to see Subaru Liberty's and then once you into Switzerland - wahoo, there is Subaru all over the place and some weird Subaru models we dont see in Australia

Which city in France are you?

E85 tune can get down to 9L/100Km ;) They make some good gains :) Extra 20Kw at the wheels over stock always feels good!

Hi.
After 345.000km, the 6MT has gone to a Subaru garage to serve as courtesy vehicule.
The new one is a 2007 3.0R Spec B, 5EAT, E85 too.
Few mods:
Some STI parts, springs, rear spoiler, front lip, front and rear strut bars.
Kobemotorsports radiator.
Exhaust, locally handmade, come from the 2004 one.
Bought at 145.000km, today 185.000km, hoping to run it more than the 2004 one!

It is a Mercedes G chassis, fitted out militarily by Peugeot. The engine is a rustic old model.
Great offroad.

Thanks for the info. It looks very capable. Small lightweight 4wds are a lot of fun and go places that many big ones can't.. My son's have got 3 Sierras and they are great fun. When we get home we simply high pressure water clean them inside and out...

P4 is not really light (for Europe!) ... 1750kg empty...
But it's a good little truck!
Mine is from 1987, 70.000km. No rust. No problem.
