I'm waiting for the seller to pick up a rwc and found this site while looking for information about car detailing.

The guy I'm purchsing the car from was meant to get a RWC from his mechanic on Monday but the car got held up cos they didnt have the parts. I called the seller yesterday to find out whats going on and he didnt respond.

The deal is sounding a little SUS..

Just did a google on the VIN which brought up the car you had on auction which states it has done 270,805kms http://www.manheim.com.au/PCV/Item/ItemUnavailable?itemID=000000000003379388.

There is a seller who is selling the same VIN and plates with 158,000kms..

I can't see rego or VIN displayed anywhere on that Carsales ad.
Also, the Manheim car plainly has a towbar, the Carsales one doesn't appear to have one.

Ric, I performed a check with PPSR and Vic Roads on the registration which revealed the VIN number.

The car has a toeball its just the angle of the photo and its the same rego!

Welcome to the forum mate. I wish it was under happier circumstances. I would be reporting it to the police as this sorta sh!t get's on my goat. Besides being a tad illegal!!
