Hi everyone,

Been on the forum for a few months now and am loving it, so informative compared to other automotive forums that I've been involved with.

Well anyway, my name is Nath and I live on the Central Coast NSW, proud owner of a MY06 3.0RB wagon. Bought it back in March as a standard car and have managed to get bitten hard by the modifying bug once again. First subaru I've owned and love it. My first car was a Daihatsu Charade known as TRYAGN, turboed 1.6L motor, made 140kW at the front wheels in a car that only weighed 800kg, was certainly fun but totally impractical, then followed an array of company cars. I started my business in 2009 and bought a Holden Rodeo, big tank of a thing with a set of 22's and once again, totally impractical but served the purpose as an advertising tool for my business, sold it in March and decided that I needed a fun to drive, practical yet attention grabbing car. The Liberty Wagon ticked all the boxes and the rest is history.

Current list of mods are fairly mild but hoping to add to them down the track..

So just wanted to say Hi and thanks for providing such a great place to meet like minded car nuts..

Thanks Boost,

Future plans will definitely include Brembos front and rear.. Will also be ordering the HKS centre Y pipe as well as the cusco rear brace very soon.. also a few cosmetic things need to be attended too like a small dent in the rear passenger door and the front bar and bonnet have copped a flogging from stone chips (hence the front shot from a distance lol)

Bigger plans will be a raptor s/c kit.. Just need to get the funds together for that one.. :)

i might be a little biased, but i love the taillights
you should invest in some chrome bulbs for the indicators :D

have you blacked out the chrome strip on the tailgate? im thinking of getting rid of all the chrome/silver :bad: on the wagon

Nice looking wagon mate;)

How are the bc coilovers treating you?

I agree Simon, the tailights were a rush job, massive stuff around from the supplier and then finally got them and realised that they didn't come with globes so raced to Super Cheap ( 2mins before they closed) and that's what I ended up with, need all new globes inside and out so they'll definitely be on the list...

The chrome strip is actually carbon wrapped, was thinking about doing the lower door sill strips too but they draw attention to the subtle signwriting at the bottom of the doors so am going to keep them (for now)..

Hi Tom,

BC's have been great so far. The Billy's had 110,000kms on them so figured I'd be asking a bit much of them with lowered springs. After fitting the BC's they were set to 6 front and rear and were incredibly bouncy, hardened up to 10 front and 6 rear and I'm very happy with them, Central Coast roads are terrible so wouldn't really want to go any harder. Ride height could possibly go a little lower but I'm trying to keep the car as practical as possible, haven't needed to roll the guards front or rear either which I was surprised about with the 8.5" +45 rims..

Hi Al,

Thanks for the welcome, It's the 6 speed manual, what an amazing gearbox..

I'll have to note that in my signature :)

Sounds good. I'm slowly being convinced to get a set. My billies have 154000 on them now:(

Do you have to remove the boot trim to access the top of the rear shocks?
