Hi All

Introduce yourself

Hi All

Postby BenAnarki » Sun May 06, 2012 4:02 pm

Hi All

I am Ben (mate to Brainy) and some of you I have met during some of the events organised in VIC. I do not drive a Liberty, I have a VE SV6 - for now, but hey it is cool to hang around you guys and talk cars and the lot. It's always good to meet new people and learn new stuff, so I decided to join in here and say hi.

Well next time you see a black VE tagging along at one of your cruise, sure stop by and say hi.

Cheers

Ben

Welcome to the forum Ben,

Sorry I missed catching up with you and everyone yesterday, didn't think everyone would of wanted me to pass on the Flu. So how did the run go on the Dyno? Have you got any mods on the car yet or are the any plans? Any thoughts on getting a liberty or you enjoying the fun of a rear wheel drive?

Thanks for the offer Acko. I am only starting to toy with the VE and curious to see how far she goes. Having fun with the rear wheel drive for now. :)

We shall meet soon enough. Hope you get well soon.

The car is still stock and got 141kw on the dyno yesterday. I already have new projectors and an air intake which will be fitted soon. Planning exhaust + headers next and finally will get the new CPR6 manifold and a tune. Well that's the plan for now and some cosmetics upgrade along the line.

Welcome Ben,

Glad to see you've finally decided to join here since we do see you at a few meets.

Good result as well on the dyno on the weekend and hope all that shop talk from the weekend doesn't see you left penniless but with a really nice car.

Cheers,

Bruce

The 2006-2009 VE is at 180/195kw and SIDI direct injection is doing 190/210kw at the engine.

Thanks! It was good to meet everybody. Brian always talk about the club and all the good things you guys do. It feels good to cruise along. For sure, I will keep you posted with the mods once I keep them coming.

Hey Ben, I had a chat with Matt about his twin turbo VT Ecotec conversion and got some nice tips from him. Thanks for that. I also had a look at his work on the justcommodore forum. He has loads of patience and doing an awesome work. His car will be a little monster once done. I am happy with the stock result as I was expecting less. Now that I know what to do and where to go, I can start working on the car.
