About time I say hi... From NSW

Hey guys, been lurking around for a while, finally decided to actually make an introduction.

I'm Cameron, 22 from Dapto.

Previously the content owner of a Lancer until I lost a fight with a truck... Leading me to shop around and finally settle on a car that has not disappointed me yet - a black 05 3.0r liberty.

She's running well, certain parts of the interior trim need replacing because they just can't be cleaned, but otherwise looking good.
No photos just yet... Needs a wash first (again) - commuting to Miranda every day builds up dust way too fast!

Almost entirely stock at the moment, but I'm hoping to change that. On the cards are -
- getting the tint fixed (whoever did it missed about a 3mm strip on the bottom of the passenger window, also some bubbles on the rear windscreen)
- quads! I love the look of these, and if they make the car sound better, bonus!
- smoking the tail (and head?) lights. Love the stealth look I've seen around.
- LED interior lights and assorted cosmetic mods (map lights on when door open, clear lenses for courtesy lights, maybe some more)
- aaand I'm looking to lower it at some point too and throw some wheels on there.

So, a bit of a shopping list, add that to the fact I know very little about car modifying (the extent of my work on the lancer consisted of installing a head unit with an incorrect wiring diagram (to this day not sure how I got it working), watching in horror as my girlfriends dad took a grinder to the parcel shelf because he decided to give me his 6x9s and they didn't fit the stock holes, and pulling out the dash cluster to put in some blue LEDs.
Yep, I was a hectic little 18/19 year old.
Point is, none of that was particularly knowledge-intensive, so I'll be trying to learn as I go, and any tips you guys have would be great.

Look forward to seeing you all around.

-Cameron

Ah, bugger. Is there a reason that's shown up as a wall of text instead of the nicely paragraph-ed thing I wrote?

Nothing! I just came back in to view the replies and it had broken.

Edit - scratch all that. It looks fine on the computer. Tapatalk is just broken.

Welcome.

In all my years in car audio I can safely say, I have never used an angle grinder for anything LOL.
