My names Daniel I'm 19 and I've just saved enough to buy my beautiful m07 Liberty 2.5. Have Subaru's in all my direct line of family ranging from wrx to liberties to outbacks, just the best most reliable things on the road. So far I'm LOVING it, but coming from a Mirage its not surprising haha. Spent 16k on it, pretty stock standard nothing special - 80,000km clocked on it when purchased, pretty impeccable condition except for the night after I took it home a bat decided to shit on it and eat straight through to the body on my roof. Had the car for over a month and so far I've chucked in a genuine Liberty aux kit for $70 and genuine Liberty Sat Nav for $450. My installations all went well except for 2 main issues on the sat nav. 1. I don't have maps installed on the sat nav (hence why it was so cheap) and I need to find map discs, I've checked out the forum already and found a couple of links to the whereis map discs but so far none work for me. Probably because I have no previous software and all are listed as update discs, not sure. and 2. when I plug the sat nav into the main unit (as the instructions insist) it turns the sat nav off, but unplugged it works? Anyways thats what I'll be looking around for my start to this forum so any additional links would be much appreciated.
I probably wont be looking too much into performance mods, except maybe an exhaust, but I really just want to really put up my cars value and buy my dream h6 and eventually chuck a twin turbo into it as my realistic dream car, and my ultimate dream car being a new GT-R!
So anyways got some research to do, hope to post up some things to pick all your brains and look forward to learning from you all.
