Just wired into parking lights for now. Did a quick job to get them up and running for the show...
Quite useful for demo s you can just put parking lights on without key in ignition.

I had a mileometer problem - I was doing more miles than a friends car for the same trip... LegacyDan pointed out that the spec.B standard rims should be 18" - So I've been running 215/45/17s instead of 215/45/18s DOH

The tyres were about shot and I love the Blitzen rims - so the best size to put on to get slose to 215/45/18 circumference on 17s turns out to be 225/50/17s - so she's now shod with Toyo T1 Sports in the right size  Looks better and rides waaaaayy more smoothly and I haven't scraped anything on the underside since I fitted them :clapping:

Fitted new smaller front plate allowed by UK law for import cars, same size characters as for motorcycle registration plates...

Cheers Al - They are not common knowledge in UK - so people advise carrying around a printout of the relevant applicable law in case you get stopped by the boys in blue  - link here http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2002 ... ion/5/made incase anyone from the UK is reading this

Thanks Libz...

As far as I know that splitter is specifically for the 2.0GT spec.B bumper... A local car mods place seem to have bought in a box of 10 of them and only managed to sell 2 so far LOL  I think they didn't realise how few there are in the UK

It is not a genuine STi part - but I got it for *ahem* a reduced price (cost price allegedly  ) so worth a punt... I did a fitting guide for them here http://www.uklegacy.com/forums/index.ph ... l__spoiler

It is not a perfect fit and I found using the centre plastic bumper clip as the only way of holding the middle was not enough - it now has a motorcycle fairing captive nut clip and screw holding it all together and looks and holds much better 8)
