Hi all,

First I'd like to thank the people that helped me in my n00b help me choose thread; viewtopic.php?f=45&t=15272
Thanks!

Just picked up my new Lib today
Image
2006, MY07 GT Spec B.

It's got a few Ks on it (~175) but it's like new.

The previous owner has loved the guts out of this car, it's immaculate.
It still has the blue plastic covers on the stone catchers in all doors except the drivers.

a 20 min drive home from the dealer turned into a 2 hour cruise, this thing is great fun!

Already thinking about making a few changes;
Need to set up the AUX in on the HU
Thinking about getting an exhaust setup of some sort - it's so quiet!
My previous car (93 Gen1 Lib GX) had a great purr with just a modified muffler, so this thing should sound even better.
Possibly thinking about a tune and changing the grille.

Where in Melb should I be looking at exhausts/tune?
Anywhere online to find a grille? (happy to fit it myself)

Cheers,

Congratulations Callum on the new car. Looks great and a well maintained higher km car is far better than a low km abused one.

Is it an auto or manual?

Whereabouts in Melbourne are you located? Perhaps you can come to mini meet tomorrow evening and listen to exhausts and checkout what others are doing. Great way to get some ideas.

Check the gatherings thread.

Manual

I'm in Mt Waverley, work in Knox.
I'm heading out of town tomorrow night, but I'll keep an eye on the gatherings thread and might see if I can come along to one soon.

I 'm so regret now i didn't get a BOV on it. it might seems nothing on performance but it does turn the car around !!
Exhaust will also be a good idea, for the grilles, only the honeycomb grille please, might be a bit hard to get one, But that's the best , better than any other aftermarket one !!

Again Congrats ! i miss my old days
