Hi all,

I'm a hopeful to be owner of a 3rd gen subaru liberty, i have previously owned a 2005 commodore and before that a runabout ford laser as my first car, i've now been carless for almost a year.
My interests are predominately sport (AFL, NFL are my favourites), music (trance is my main weapon of choice) and am studying at uni.

I haven't had much luck with either of my cars in terms of reliability so i'm hoping to turn things around with a subaru. By far the worst was my commodore but i'll stay out of that one for now

Looking forward to sharing my subaru to-be with you all, just hope i can make it happen with my limited budget.

Yeah can't wait for playoffs! RDO already booked for Superbowl too haha. Unfortunately for me this year, I'm an Eagles fan.

Well after spending 16 odd million in the offseason, the whole world thought Philadelphia would make the playoffs! No pre season didnt help & trying to introduce 5 or so big name players into a new team & under a first year new DC, there was always bound to be problems. Coaching changes have big impact full stop, eg. Kansas City.

So i ended up buying a 2003 liberty rx special edition, 113xxxkm and auto. Gotta say, i'm very happy with it It really is a much more refined and better made vehicle than your commodores and falcons.
The only thing i want to do with it is sound system. Just wanted to ask, has anyone kept the stock speakers and hooked them up to an amp? I ask because I'm hoping that i can get away with putting in a sub, amp and double din head unit and leave the speakers (at least for the time being) to save some money. Any thoughts? Thanks guys! Pictures will come in time, have to give it a good wash first
