Hello hello, just joined up and looking forward to reading up on the Liberty's as much as I can.

Bit of a background I've moved to Melbourne from Brisbane early last year, have always had a 'few' cars in the yard so to speak  . started out in the small capacity turbos with a heavily modded S13 which went to a S4 RX7 then a VS commodore, about 6 e21 BMW 323i's, a '72 HQ styleside ute with a monster ( :bad: ) 253 & 4spd, big heads/cammed SS ute and to now settling down to a VZ Senator.

Raced for 7yrs in karts and have had drives in Geminis/HQs, done a fair bit of 1/4 mile stuff but prefer circuit & motorkhanas.

self taught mechanical basically will do anything but gearbox's especially autos i steer away from. also can do a bit of tuning on carbs and efi.

havve a partner, 3 kids and am a civil formworker.

thats a bit about me, im in the market for a gen4 so will be around quite a bit and asking a thousand questions (after a overuse of the search button lol)

cheers, Ash

Welcome.
Pop along to the next Melbourne cruise to see a few nice models. You're welcome to come along for the drive in any other model car. ;)
See the link in my signature.

Thanks for the welcome fellas.

Will see if I can get to the cruise and be the black sheep of the group lol, depending on how the kids are, we have a 5 month old that has about an hour tops of enjoying the car.

A good mix of cars I agree, plenty more I coulda woulda shoulda but I'm still young and plenty of time left.

I'm a fan of the liberty, a mates rs is just phenomenal plus I drove a gen4 gt when they were first released and was impressed for the bang for buck way more appealing than a wrx.

I'm selling the senator to move on and be a bit more comfortable on mortgage repayments plus want to get a couple of properties under the belt sooner than later. Plus now with fuel going up and up I've gotten the tune to a point I can't better without throwing a cam and exhaust on it to get the l/100klm down a bit more. Anyway won't bore anyone with that.

I'll get some pics up of what I can find for the cars soon!
