Hey guys my names Allan i have recently bought a 2006 Subaru Liberty 2.5i Safety pack edition and absolutely loving it!

I was looking for things to do to her eventually and stumbled accross this forum so i thought i'd join up and hopefully nab some good idea's and maybe some tips and tricks that i wouldn't be able to work out by myself

Is there many get togethers for liberty's? i use to own a Nissan 300zx 1990 NA and the forum i was on (i wont name names as to not advertise etc.) had a cruise or meet every month or so just to catch up or have a bbq/tech day etc...

so yeah i think thats all for the time being, nice to meet you all and im sure ill be picking your brains soon

Ahh nice, I'll definitely try make an appearance and see if I can see some idea's I'd like on my Liberty. I have seen one car On the forum with the front grill a honeycomb mesh and without the silver wings I think that looks hot and simplify's the look of the front which is what I'm after. Maybe someone in Perth has done this or knows how? I'm sure I'll meet someone who knows on the cruise =p

Yeah I loved my 300, was my pride and joy but unfortunately due to work and other commitments (dirt bike riding) it had to go for something more practical and something that I can tow with. Plus spending $150 on fuel every week was started to get on my nerves haha.

I'm bight interested in learning more about the sti version of the liberty though I didnt know liberty did sti versions.

Also the factory gps unit, worth the money...?

Factory GPS is about $4K if you dont have it installed so no lol. You can do aftermarket installs etc tho, but for me id rather just go a cheap portable one and use the money on other mods.

Ill see if I can source a honeycombe grill for you mate, otherwise if your still keen in a few months I might replace mine.

Ahh $4k bit on the expensive side of life lol. I had heard it was rather expensive to do but i was hoping there was an alternative option. oh well

If you can source one for me that would be awesome, i'm not too big on second hand items when i upgrade things so if you can source me a new one that would be great but if all thats available is second hands then i guess that will have to do wont it

How much would i be looking at for New/Second hand?

At a guess I'd say new around $500, used $250 or less
