Hey all,

Name's Andrew, based on the north side of Sydney and in marketing. Always been keen on cars but have heaps of hobbies. I always find myself needing a project to keep me from getting bored. For a while it was supersprints in my track car, now it's a ski boat and wakeboarding! I do seem to have a habit of getting in to my brothers hobbies as well and recently built a 2 seater top fuel dragster billy cart complete with libery rear end & hydraulic brakes.

Been lurking around the forums since when I got it in my head that the Lib was definitely the next car for me. For a long time I've been thinking about an exec style car with some go and despite my love for JDM models I've decided I don't want to go down the import route again. (Unless it's for an STi S402... dreaming!)... My most recent purchase of a boat (with my brother) has meant that I needed to narrow my search to something with decent towing ability and I don't want a boat (commo, falcon, 4wd) to tow with so here I am!

I've currently got 3 (don't ask) 2 door N15 Pulsar VZ-Rs (see avatar). I was quite involved in the scene a number of years ago and set up the SEVS import approval for 2 door models with an importer and brought the 1st three of them in to the country for compliance. After a lot of drama with dodgy business people I couldn't bring myself to sell them I put them in storage for a couple of years but now it's time for them to go so I can upgrade! I'm tempted to keep the N1 version for track work but know that realistically it should go also!

So, as soon as I can flog one or two of the Pulsars (hopefully very soon), I'll be on the prowl for a libs. I've tossed back and forth for a while about which model to get with a budget of 30K! First thought was a 3.0R-B but I'm fairly certain I'll settle with a 2007-2009 GT-B. Loving the MY07 tbSTi's although they're a bit above budget. Problem is I know if I buy a GT-B I'll constantly be buying add-ons to make it more like a tbSTi! Happy for any advice from happy owners!

So that's my story, looking forward to getting in a Subi very shortly!

Andrew.

Welcome Andrew, very nice 3-door Pulsars you have there.

Where are you located?

Just re-read the intro template and have edited. For someone who's been on forums for so long i'm still a n00b. Based North of Sydney, work @ Chatswood and living @ Beecroft for now.
