Let's get the formalities out of the way:
Ride: 2004 Subaru Outback 3.0R Premium (actually it's the wife's car!)
Location: Melbourne
Mods: 2 x kids car seats, very sporty.
Plans: Replace failed stereo
Occupation: Sparky
We've had the Outback since new and it is pretty much the best family car you can buy. It has handled everything we can throw at it, semi off-roading, towing boats, dealing with kids vomit (god bless leather!) trips around Australia, you name it and the Outback has been a joy. Couple of small things for me to take care of now so I've joined up to source the wisdom on the crowd.
First and most importantly I've got to replace all the rotors and pads, and soon
Second, the radio is now officially dead. First the CD player died so we moved to an iPod via cassette adapter, then the damn cassette player died so I'm screwed. And to further complicate things, as the entire HVAC system is included as part of the radio it's going to be a pretty big job. Oh well, at least I'll have some fun
