Hey Everybody

Introduce yourself

Hey Everybody

Postby phillb » Fri Aug 26, 2011 11:26 am

Hi All,

Im new to the forum and was recently introduced to this forum as helping a customer with his Liberty I think his username is "Bert" on here.

My wife actually owns the Subaru in our family, but sadly I do all the modifying, so most recently her car got some fresh new shoes and a better stance, It's a 2004 Liberty Wagon in Pearl White and for some reason came with the safety pack and country pack? As it used to ride higher than all the other ones on the road.

A bit about me, I actually have a background in all things Nissan and currently own an R34 GTT Sedan and my work car is a Suzuki APV.
I enjoy all area's of motorsport and do a number of motorkhana, circuit and the odd drift day here and there..

I look forward to learning more about all things Subaru and hopefully meet a few more members along the way.

Cheers
Phillb

PHILL!!!

Ryan here, how have you been?

Been ages since I saw you last! I think you had the yellow 180 or ceffy last time I saw you. I kinda keep track of what car you've got when I drive past your work. I sold my 180 about 2 years ago.

I see you typed "wife" and "family" in your introduction, congratulations!

Saw the liberty yesterday too as I drove home from work...looks nice :) what sort of wheels are they?

Hi Ryan,

Long time no see, Yes mate I got married last year and have recently started my own business http://www.phillbenterprises.com.

This is my wifes car:

The spec's on the wheels are 18 x 8j +35 Works XD9's wrapped in Pirelli P Zero 225/40/18 :)

I rolled the rear guards and it is just lowered an inch on Pedders progressive springs as it is her daily so nothing too over the top.

Are there many forum members on the beaches? As it would be great to organise a meet?

Cheers

Feel free to organise a meet! People from all around Sydney will come. We recently had one at Harrys at the wheels in Parramatta and had quite a good turnout, 15 members I think. We even had a guy from the northern beaches show up :)

Thanks all for the warm welcome :)

Kjeep, it is just 1 inch lowered springs on stock shocks, would have gone coilovers but it's my wifes daily so springs are more than adequate in the looks and handling department. In my research I had found that lowered springs effect the ride on wagon's, but currently haven't had any issues.

Hey guys,

Been hanging with a few of you guys lately off the forum and it reminded me about this build thread.

So a quick update is that we still have the liberty and it hasn't really changed much except we are thinking about selling the wheels and upgrading to a new Forrester..

Here's how the wagon looks at the moment:

We have recently just added roof racks as I've taken up SUP and need to carry our boards and things.
