Hey All,

Finally picked up my car last night, thought I'd introduce myself (even though I've been a member of this awesome forum for a short time).

It's my first Subaru, and I've gotta say, Subaru sure do know how to induce a smile! Ever since I laid my eyes on the Gen IV Liberty models, I LOVED IT! And I can finally get one of my own.

I can't recall who but someone had his their lip plastic welded and they said it looked alright from far but up close not perfect. And didn't last long.

Yeh it was me and it lasted until it flexed on my driveway and cracked the paint

I'd suggest buying a new one like Nick's off him, as I bought a genuine one brand new (along with an under rubber guard from PHAT GT) and I scrape occasionally on my driveway but it flexes. When you get a broken one repaired, you can't really afford for it to flex as it cracks the weld or the paint that was used to fix it.
