Hi my name is Bill, im located in Sydney, 17 years old and currently doing my HSC.

After the HSC which finishes around November my parents have said that when i get my P-Plates they would help me to purchase a car, ive been looking around for a while and have decided that i really would like a 2004 2.5L Automatic Gen IV liberty. Although Since my parents have said that i will have to pay for repairs, fuel and any modifications I thought that this would be the best place to ask in what to look for when buying a second hand liberty and common problems + parts that would need to be replaced in a 100,000km+ vehicle.

Thanks in advance, Bill

Hey bill, welcome!

some problems you may run into are O2 sensor dying and info clock display not working properly. im new here too so still learning. do a quick search and you should be able to find any other issues. other than that they are a great car to drive!
