Far out! Is this the engine with the fancy head?

It's a pretty standard MGB engine.
Same block as an MGA, but they were 1800cc. My car's original engine was 1500cc, and the biggest MGAs ever came with was 1622cc.
My engine has better oil seals and stronger springs on the valves than MG ever put on them, extractors instead of the stock exhaust manifold, and an electronic distributor (no points).
All that just makes it rev a bit higher, and a bit more reliable than the original engines.

Just for the record, this event has been rescheduled to this Sunday Mar 27.
Unfortunately I'm running a motorkhana event over in Bayswater on Sunday, so can't participate.

Also for the record, my SpecB Liberty is sold and undergoing a renovation by the member that bought it.
I'm very happy with the MY21 Outback Touring I bought to replace it.
