Before this car I have mostly had imprezas, but something about the liberty b-spec just caught my eye. Wanted to join this club because I know that this is only the begining of what is possible with these cars. Looking for gatherings, information, advice and most of all track days and cruises.
I look forward to hopefully meeting up with other owners soon
Regards Nick

Welcome mate, post up some pics of the car. Also team wagon or sedan member? haha.
Cant help you with the genuine accesories, well not from NSW anyway, maybe try Phat GT in the commercial vendors. He generally gets performance upgrades but can get pretty much anything especially if you have a part number. worth a shot anyway.

Welcome Nick.
Keep an eye on the "NSW Gatherings" forum. Note there is an icon down the bottom of that forum to notify you whenever someone posts there.

Thanks yeah I will be coming along to the Ribs and Rumps meeting, not for dinner but after for awhile, I got my car mats sorted out in the end but no luck with the Aux point, Subaru quote $287 fitted for the aux point. The mats Subaru want $167 but found them on line for $79 delievered through a private car accessory company.
I need some pointers on general care and attention to detail, my GT B is black and has a few stone chips from the previous owner any advice on care with this or is it worth getting fix etc?
Tyres, the tyres on the car are what came with the car from new so it will need new tyres soon, any ideas on good tyres? I am looking for value for money, I dont want to cheap out but at the same time I am not made of money so whats a good choice?
Regards Nick

Hey Mate,
Welcome to the forum, nice car!! As for tyres I'm using Toyo Proxes 4 had them for about 3 months now, and I'm loving them. For a mid range performance tyre, they are well worth the money in my opinion. They were about $260 a corner If I can remember right. Not too sure how long these tyres would last if your going to be tracking your car though....

Anyone know of some good places for touch up parts or even car detailing places. I like doing it myself I find it quite relaxing but those places like Super Cheap auto and Auto Barn seem to sell any old normal brand and products. Anyone got any ideas or tips?
Just one more thing why does every boy racer in their Lancer's, Impreza's and Civic's now think I am trying to race them off at the lights??

I am also confused by that.
Maybe he just means detailing products?
viewtopic.php?f=57&t=10714The websites at the top are a good place to start, and the links at the very bottom on guides to detailing.

ok well start off.
What are you after?
a good car shampoo?
a wax?, a sealant? etc
polish?
Do you have the time to spend regularly washing and waxing the car? Is it going to be left outside or garaged? How much do you want to spend? There is no one brand that is the best. There are different brands to suit different situations.

Well the car will be garaged overnight but will be in a normal open car park during the day. I am looking for something to wash with than either polish or something which will really bring the colour out. After I wash and shammy the car it still looks dull so I used a feel different polishes but nothing really seems to bring out the colour or shine like it had when I bought it. I dont have the contact details for the older man I bought it off so I cant contact him. Time isnt really an issue with cleaning I dont mind putting the time or effort in if I can really see results.
Just wanted to know what you guys use and may do differently
