Hi all,
Stewart from Newcastle here, Recently purchase a MY05 GT sedan. Having upgraded from a 98 Bilstein Edition to the land of the turbos, thought id join in on this forum, as what ive seen so far just makes me want to start modding. Car is currently stock except for a k&n panel filter. Getting new rims on friday. Might add to that epic wheels thread in the wheels section. Definately keen for some cruises.

Cheers
Stewart

I agree, nice car but those are terrible headlight surrounds.
Also get some slimline number plates if they are available in your state!

ive been told to take them off atleast 50 times this week, i think i might tommorow, anyone know how theyre stuck on/best way to get them off?
umm cheapish rims, i needed new tyres anyway so i figured why not, theyre speedy fin lites just in the silver colour. same as the ones on the red wagon in the wheels thread, spokeyish. and they were only $230 each, with 225/40/18 falkens for $219 each.

They should be attached by double sided tape.....but then again who knows how the previous owner put them on.
Did you happen to look at the Spec.B rims/tyres at all, or were u after a different look.
Because yeah $100 a rim and $220 per tyre for 18's

yeah i considered the spec b rims, but wanted something a bit different, i cant afford the OZ ultralites i was looking at, so i went with the speedys because i could get cheap tyres for them if i went through that dealer
getting them tommorow actually... will post pics, may or not have the eyelids taken off by then, i got rid of the resonator today didnt see much of a change in sound though, probably because i sealed the hole

Bloody awesome mate!! car looks so much better without those horrendous eyelids....they were vomit worthy
Rims look nice too, but you need to lower it a little and get rid of the mudguards I reckon
Good luck with the modding and keep us updated.
P.S - slimline plates
