Introduce yourself

New but not new

Postby hellashort » Thu Jul 19, 2007 12:13 am

Hello,

Just a quick hello. Myself and a few mates who own Libertys but aren't into this sort of thing regularly read this forum. I used to own a 1985 Touringwagon then a 1992 Liberty GX Rallye (or however it was spelt) then a MY03 WRX and now I am married a MY05 Liberty GT. Picture to come soon I suppose but I would like to say that even though people are not participating in the forums they are still reading. Believe it or not at one point I was thinking a new MY08 GT and in doing so was comparing features with Saab and Volvo. You do funny things. But the money wasn't right for another new car so MY05 it is. And I couldn't be happier.

Thanks for your advice on this site. Helped me make the decision to go second hand.

Nig

nothing wrong with second hand, two year old cars are the best buy.
Good choice, GTs are awesome

Yeah I got sick of waiting for the MY08 (mate already has a MY07 so I had to one up him) and then I realised the savings our household could make in getting a 2nd hand one.

And so the deal was struck.

Hoping not to sound too stupid, I take it this forum does not allow uploads of photos or I have not achieved the number of posts to be allowed to do so (fair enought). I can host them from my place but that would make no sense given that it may be unreliable or they would be removed, but the forum wouldn't.

What is the best host for photos that you guys use?

Just quickly: first thing is front and rear sway bars and then weight up strut brace vs ecutek with MRT. I think MRT will make it mighty expensive so might bail on power for cornering.

too much trouble.

OK so this is my new car before I own it. All the trawlers hit us so much and cannot be told to stay away that much of our bandwidth is wasted on satisfying search engines.

Before I set up a picasa account or whhat have you.
