2 years on, the tyres are stuffed, and they need replacing. While they are off the car, having the gutter rash repaired (wife's been driving the car for 18 months now so all 4 rashed  ) and powdercoated a new colour. I've come down to 3 options which are as follows:

The car as the colour is now

Pewter/Gunmetal

Black

And for shits n giggles - Takata Green (not sure if this will pass with the Mrs)

But yeah, let me know your opinions.

In other news, mods in the last 2 years have been:
Whiteline Anti Lift Kit
Spec B Bilsteins & Springs (N.O.S.)
Custom Tune (DIY)

and about 50,000ks added with pretty much trouble free motoring :D

If i knew the dulux colour that closest matches it i probably would. I have access to blast & powdercoat for $50 per wheel, but they only use Dulux colours :S

+1 from me, exactly what I was thinking.

If your using Dulux powdercoat colors, I reckon this is a good one for inbetween those two. Its precious steel pearl.

Interesting - thanks!
The first color i had done was precious silver pearl, which as you can see was more white/very light silver and didn't match the swatch well at all IMO. I quite like the precious steel pearl and may well go that path

That looks good, with the added bonus that your wheels would be the same colour as your brake dust.

So, needed new tyres, and on ebay managed to snag a new set of wheels with 98% tyres (still had the nipples on the sidewalls!) for a great price, SO:

New Shoes: Speedy Lite Fin 7 18x7.5 with 225/40/18 tyres.

Will be keeping these as the Mrs likes them much better, so the EOI on the XT7Rs will become for sale shortly.

Also, spent 4 hours cleaning, clay barring, polishing, sealing the exterior then full interior detail including vacuum, wipe down, clean leather & condition leather.

Much happier with the car once again! :give_heart: :give_heart:

Oh, and can still see the fine scratches when in the sun... really needs profesional paint correction, but this will have to do for now. Used no-brand clay bar, Atoglym SRP followed by Autoglym Extra Gloss sealant. Should repel the water, dirt and bird shit a bit better at least until I can get real correction done.
