ran a 14.2@97mph and killed my clutch on the same night

has anyone got times for a gen4 3.0r to compare?? i know it's as fast as lightly modded WRXs and it's been putting a few turbo cars to shame as of late...

it's been off the road for a while now, as i've sourced some extra stuff...

i'm putting a cushion button clutch and hydrolic clutch kit into it...

should be good!

Made my day seeing this.

Don't listen to this crowd. I'd suggest your one step away from completely stock so "slightly modified" suits.

Only thing I see that "could" be different from original is that exhaust ;)

Love the shape and the "simple" mods.

Cushion Button clutch in, and setup launch control via my ecu (oh the joys of aftermarket computers)
it now puts to shame almost anything from the holden camp (including a monaro, although admittedly over a rather short distance)

off the line acceleration is amazing now, especially with the added bite from the HD clutch and the help from launch control

can't wait to get back out to WSID now...

AM Auto did an alright job, but as with anything pioneering like this, i've run into countless problems...

i'm from sydney, when i get my licence back i'd love to cruise with you guys some time and see how she compares to other 6s

update has been a long time coming...

First off:

Cold weather is my friend... ran a 13.9 @ 99 MPH and a 1.9 60' time
which is seriously hauling ass for a non-turbo... making even some of the STi boys worried now days... ;)

fixed up my car visually, in more ways than one:

put on some tape eyelids and partially tinted my tail-lights and garnish:

also fixed up my exhaust once and for all...
custom 6-2-1 extractors
high flow cat
2.5" piping
2 inline resonators
single varex muffler at the rear

There's someone on Ozlib selling the RX fog lights and projector headlights if you arent using the fog holes for air intakes.

Looks good now :D

Next time u go to crash shop get your side skirts and strips and mirrors color coded. Looked so much better when i did them on my genII
