Hey,

So i'm looking at buying a Liberty GT Wagon Tuned By STI to use as a daily, as my weekender is just too grumpy to drive day to day.

Is there anything i should look out for when buying one?

Its auto, and has KIDO brakes, and aftermarket matte black wheels, other than that it's standard with 142,000kms.

Thanks
Matt.

What year as a TBSTI would come with Brembos and you wouldn't downgrade to Kido brakes.

They are very rare in wagon form! And that year didn't come with brembos unfortunately. So at least it has upgrades...

I think I saw the car in question once in narraweena. The breaks really stood out from memory.

Is the car grey and they brakes are red?

Which would you prefer Kido Brakes or Brembos?

Yep car is silver, red brakes & black wheels. Wheels look hot, but coming from a V8 fan I got no idea what wheels they are.

Ill post pics if I go through with it.

So the cars been bought, I take delivery tonight. Can't wait to get back behind the wheel. My first 4wd drive car, having been a dedicated V8 RWDer... it should be interesting :)

Very nice purchase! I doubt you'll regret it. As run as fishtailing in a RWD is, nothing beats the feeling of pulling G's around corners in an AWD ;) Enjoy!

Fishtailing.. i prefer powerskids :) no brakes just mash the throttle and keep it straight while baking the tyres.

My GTS has coilovers, but rides on 20s so its a bit of a trade off. Making enough power to make it fun through the twisties though. I'm taking it to powercruise next month.

So finally got round to posting some photo's.

Here it is, all i;ve done is added a JDM grille. Future plans are to try not to spend money on it, but i think i'll end up with a tune, dump pipe, and atleast a new panel filter (if not a air intake).

Also posted a collage with my other toy...
