So just to put it out there any decent tuning places around melb preferrably on the north-side.

Anything to lookout for or general tips i should know to maintaning this beast ?

ANything would be helpful !

Congratulations mate!

So did you have to go interstate for this one or a local Melbourne car?

Any pics of it as yet or what colour did you end up getting?

With regards to tuners, Chasers Motorworks comes to mind on that side of town.

welcome and congrats, I'm hearing good things about the tuning from Chasers motorworks, from memory they are on Dynon Rd West Melbourne, Footscray end of Dynon Rd.

Enjoy.

Yeh ended up having to get it down from NSW. A dealership in Wollongong.

Its gonna be White. I would have preferred Black but white suites me fine !

Yeh i know Chasers pretty well but was hoping there would be specific Subaru tuning joints but i guess it doesnt hurt to have a chat to em when i get my hands on the new car.

Good idea on getting one from NSW as there just don't seem to be any around in Melbourne.

White is probably the rarest of the MY08 STI so good pickup and really black would be great for a while till you realise it's dirty 15 mins after you've finished a wash.

With regards to tuners there are numerous out there. Some more popular than others. Anyone who can tune a WRX should be able to tune a Liberty.

Tuners popular with forum members in no particular order are:

- AVO
- Springy Motors
- Chasers
- Revzone (I use them)
- HPF

Good luck choosing a tuner and can't wait for pics.

Cheers

Nice one mate. I would love a white Lib, I settled for black and it is high maintanance, but looks damn good when it's clean.. 8)
For tuning I hear very good things about Ray at A.R.T. He's in West Heidelberg.
Good Luck

If you don't mind telling... How much did it cost... originally I was chasing a new GT and got a price around $54k but never thought of STI off the bat...
