Introduce yourself

New: 2005 Liberty GT.

Postby HellKnight » Tue Feb 10, 2009 12:02 am

Hey all,

About me:
My name is Martin, 24 and live in Perth (SoR) WA. I work at the casino and studying at Curtin's Business School under a double major econ/finance.

I've driven an MA70 Supra (7m model) before and did it up as a performance street car. This car however is more for my daily driving.

About car:
Currently Stock standard, got it from City Subaru in Vic. Park. Due to the weather and being leather I got the tinting done asap at tint a car (midnight express).

Future Plans:
* Turbo Timer
* HID/LED kits
* STI Front/side/back/wing (Don't like the wing my car currently has)
* Rims/Brake/Suspension upgrade

That is essentially what I have planned so far. Looking to have a nice vehicle I can drive to work rather than race around in.

Current Pics:

Any suggestions or recommendations would be great.

Thanks,

-Martin.

Welcome to the forums Martin and congrats on your purchase of a nice looking GT in white pearl.

The guys around here are very helpful in providing advice and other means of lightening your wallet for mods on your ride.

Welcome mate!

Wow, Pearl White seems to be the flavour of the month!

Nice looking car... But loose that Subaru badge on the front grill. Looks better... Trust me :D

Keep an eye on the "for sale" section. Things like rims & springs pop up all the time :D

I would also suggest you look at getting a tune... You have some great tuners over in WA from what we hear :D

Hi Martin
Congrats on the new Liberty and pleased to see another Perth owner joining up. This list of mods you have sounds like you have done some thinking and planning already. One thing I suggest you don't bother with is the turbo timer as it truly a waste of mod $$. As mentioned we are fortunate enough to have some good tuners in Perth as well. Verso flash tune from Allstar Garage would be an excellent mod...$990 inc dyno time or you can go Ecutek for around double that.

Welcome Martin.

Your planned mods are modest. Watchout for the forum bug!!!

I am looking to replace the grill as I have seen some of the results on this forum. Anyone happen to be selling? :)

Thats the place in Malaga that remaps ECU? do you guys recommend doing some light modifications before getting that done (fuel pump/TMIC/exhaust/turbo) before heading there?
