MY14 GT Wagon

Hi All,

Just picked up an MY14 GT manual wagon in black (is there any other colour?). Only has just over 3000km, so near enough to a new car but without some of the painful depreciation! Loving it so far - most fun I've had since my old Cordia Turbo 20+ years ago.

The only mod I've done is updating the maps to v20 (woohoo), but in time I'll get a tune, TBE and possibly some new springs. It's primarily a daily driver for the wife so I'm not going to be in a hurry to do things - I think she's freaked out enough with the stock car stepping up from our Mazda SP23. Maybe I'll get a tune but leave I mode alone....

Other features/quirks/questions I've noticed so far:

* I know it's an oldie, but that 'I Agree' on the nav startup is just stupid. I'd happily sign some sort of perpetual waiver with Subaru in return for having that removed.
* MY14 (and I think MY13) comes with a USB port standard. I was pleasantly surprised to find my iPhone 6 works fine with full iPod functionality with the HU - I was expecting to be either loading up a USB key with MP3s or using bluetooth streaming. Haven't tested yet with my wife's android handset, but I presume bluetooth streaming should work OK.
* The switch panel on the right of the dash which includes DSC and hill assist switches has three additional slots blanked out. Does anyone know what they are used for in other models/markets? Is it possible to get a standard, preferably blank, switch/button to put in there? I'd love to wire up our garage remote to a dash switch rather than fumbling in the centre console as I drive up the driveway.

Pics to follow once I've given it a good clean, hopefully next weekend.

Cheers,
Wally.
