Took a fair few years, and a bad choice with a second hand Golf, but I'm back into a Liberty, albeit a 2.5i, auto Gen V. I can just picture all the headshaking already, but I have my reasons. My gf can't drive manual, and I do 600+kms per week... so really need something economical and easy to drive. Plus we go on lots of road trips, so I really just wanted a comfy cruiser. The Lib ticks all the boxes in terms of creature comforts, and I found one with relatively low kms for a decent price (I think). deets are:
MY10 Sports Premium auto
Satnav + bluetooth + McIntosh (this may be the first ever car where the sound system may suffice for a few months)
76,000km
$21k
I take ownership on Monday from the dealer
