Hello all,

I've been lurking for some time now, taking in all the awesome info and thought it was time to introduce myself.

I got myself a Black 04 Liberty GT Premium wagon riding on 18x8's. 110k on the clock with an sti bottom end put in 10k-km previously as the original engine had the dreaded oil pickup crack/spin main bearing issue.

Did alot of research before buying so I had a panel filter in it and had it tuned by Matt from kiddo within a week of owning it. I was very happy with the results and said thats all I would do.

Didn't last long. I'm ordering my Process West TMIC and AVO dump pipe this week and bought a GFB respons BOV from a fellow member. Will get a retune by Matt when he is back in brissy soon. I was tempted to go the whole turbo and associated upgrades but due to the lack of bolt on options for the 2.0T and trustworthy workshops up here being booked for months I have put it in the too hard basket for now.

Here are a couple of pics, I will add more when I have done a full detail.

Welcome!

Shame about spinning a bearing, glad you went overkill on the STi bottom end rebuild though :P

Nice murder wagon. 8) Definitely hit the ground running!
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!
