Hey all,

Name is James, recently bought myself a 2005 Liberty GT in (maroon red) forget the official name Subaru gives the color.

Love a good cruise and love some tasteful mods.

Previous cars:

2002 bugeye WRX
2010 VE SS Ute (shit heap)
And now 2005 liberty GT premium pack.

Looking to get the exhaust and tune done over the coming weeks, if anyone has any recommendations for places to go, feel free to throw them my way!

Cheers!

Just thought they were a bit too common, that and the model I had was the AFM model so de activates when your driving long distance then get confused when you want V8 power on 4cyl. Just didn't love it! Haha

Yeah mods I'm really keen on, getting my rims and suspension done at tech 9 in a couple of weeks time with a nice set of matte black 19s.

Had my Phillips HIds installed the day I bought it haha

Hardest thing I have come across at the moment is a good exhaust system, since mine is the twinscroll 2LT turbo it seems to be hard to find a good sounding one. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it !!!

Hey dude I just got an ultrex exhaust system and its fantastic you might wanna consider that? I heard it on a twin scroll before I got it for my single and on the twin scroll it sounded great! I'm not sure if they have a dump ready for the twin scroll yet though, but the cat back is a winner. I'll be sure to look out for you around perth!

When you get your tune done I would recommend ASG (All Star Garage) in Malaga for an open source tune. I know a few ppl that have had it done there and are very happy. Im getting mine done in about 10 days time so ill let you know how it goes too.

If you wanted to go down the EcuTek line then Maximum Motorsport would be the go for that.

Sounds good mate, if you could let me know how that ends up going, also the cost if you wouldn't mind me asking?

Asg tune is about $1200, Ecutek @ MM is about 2k+

I would recommend the verso tune at asg over ecutek tho as its open source.
