Well things with my new car are moving quickly, arrival date was due for 7 May 2010. The dealer rang me today and told me it’s arrived, they have had all the body kit painted and its going into the workshop for fitting tomorrow. I even got a SMS from the workshop manager telling me the car is booked in for work tomorrow. If I had not been flying to Tasmania tomorrow for work and back Thursday morning I could have picked it up tomorrow. But I fly in at 9.30 am on Thursday and I shall be picking it up once I arrive back in town.

Photos to follow on the weekend.

thanks hobbler, have read your post this evening on this issue and thought I would speak to the dealer tomorrow and that would give him a few days to have the latest version in the car.

Well today at 8.30am I took delivery of my new Subaru and love it, the rear with the boot spoiler and rear bumper skirt look fantastic. A made a mistake was with the front, I specified a front lip spoiler which I thought was the STi lip, they took it to be front bumper skirt (Oh well) not to worry, this looks good anyway. The STi lip probably would have suffered lots of problems on out dirt roads, so not big loss and I could always put on the STi lip some other time.

My gosh its got some power and handles great. As my mother has a MY10 2.5i Sports I can say the turbo is in a league of its own. As both cars have the same suspension the Flexible Tower Brace seems a good investment as the ride is much smoother than mum’s. It is going to take me a while to sort it all out which is going to be fun.

It came with Whereis 16, which according to the whereis website has not yet been released for Subaru, any way it wont get much use as my daily drive.

Pictures this weekend if I live through whatever is making me feel crap.
