For those keen to know

The power gain for this vehicle was approx 66%, from 107kw at wheels to 170kw at wheels as determined by XRT. Reputed to push you back into the seat nicely

I loved the last slide in the last movie, looks so 100% stock, but has 150% inside that mild exterior. So unique, and the very first in the world of that model to be both supercharged and have a reflashed ECU

There are 3 ways to post. A "reply" button on the bottom of each thread page on the left. A "reply with quotes" on the bottom right. A "submit quick reply" in the center. Then a window pops up on another screen that allows you to type in the message. Under that window, click "submit reply".

To start a new thread, its on the main page of each category.

We used romraider with ecuflash. I had a heck of a time finding the second plug that needed to be jumped for flashing. It wasn't diagramed correctly in the wiring diagrams.

And another one

CARDOC on E85 and a little mod for the MAP sensor

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70x_e39r6tw&feature=plcp

Going pretty well for a single port 3.0, seems to be same accel rate from 0 - 100mph -- sweet. Absolutely LOVING how well the auto trans is shifting, any mods in it Cardoc?

With E85 XRT will have quite some flexibility with ignition timing now :)

The transmission is a stock build, rebuilt in February due to broken bearing and internal seal leak.

And, another vid:

Today I had a vacuum leak issue-resolved. While I had a few things apart I installed an Aeromotive 15306 FPR to help with fuel pressure under boost. Ed at XRT sent me v7 of the ROM so I loaded it before I left the shop tonight. Its still running good. No cutout, not bucking, acceleration is good. I will do more test runs and logging tomorrow. I was too tired to mess with it this evening.

I am uploading another video as I post this. I post them so Ed and Tim can see it. Of course Ed gets it "WhatsAp" so its mostly for Tim.

Its still uploading at this time, so just check my channel if you want to see it.

A reminder - I am taking it to the dragway this Friday night, Saturday for you guys, and will get some video taken and posted.

And, I removed the VDC fuse so it will be active to see what happens over the next couple days. Also, NO MIL LIGHT since ROM v6. This morning all the emission monitors were set, even EVAP, and nothing. Not even a pending code. That's good news.

Yeah, those Cadillacs are great. They let them run the cars prior to this section of turnpike opening. The current speed limit is 85 mph/137 Kmh.

Today I found the issue with power loss. I log so much data via Rom Raider, it doesn't all fit on the screen and I am constantly scrolling side to side, up/down when going over them and I have been missing it.

Anyway, Today I watched the vids and looked at logs and saw what the fuel trim was doing. It was getting too rich, "flooding" the cylinders. At the same time, the boost dropped off.

Its not the modules. Either of them and it has been repaired.

The intake elbow on the inlet side of the compressor was being sucked closed to the point it restricted the air thus causing a rich condition.

I took some video after the fix and it is in the process of uploading as I post this.

Boost pressure is up now. No more lag at 5500. The 1-2 shift when floored occurs at 7k, 2-3 about 6500 or so. I didn't leave it floored long enough to find the 3-4 shift because I let off the throttle at 110 (177 Kmh) to slow down.

When the video completes uploading, I'll post it.
