ok so what would be stopping us from installing an adjustable FPR and just cranking up the fuel pressure?

Upping the fuel pressure would only increase fuel in a minute amount. You have to have the larger injector flow to provide enough fuel to match the air intake. Otherwise, you run lean. Actually, under boost you wouldn't get far at all for all the misfires or just plain bog down. Not enough fuel.

I still run an adjustable FPR, to up the pressure to 50 psi for the E85.

This last week I swapped back to gasoline because the outside temps are making it shitey starting the car with E85. Took me 45 minutes one day to get it running. Running the 650cc injectors and the last ROM that provided 292 with E85, the car is maintaining stoich at low speeds and running 10:1 under boost. (I'm gonna fix that). I have turned down the FPR to 40 psi, but I need to change the fuel map.

You need minimum 440 cc. You can get 650 cc from Deatschwerks for the same cost. And either one will have to be tuned to the fuel you run. (and no one has either size for an EZ30D)

David? No. Did he order parts? Maybe he decided it was more than he wanted to get in to or maybe the daughter and boyfriend broke up and now he doesn't have a shop to do the work in.

I emialed him when we did the changes with the MAP, but he never replied. Haven't communicated with him since the string of 30 or so messages earlier this year.

Gotta a guy in Dallas is supposed to bring me a 2.5RS and an H6 LL Bean for a drivetrain swap; automatic, ECM, Dash, everything really, sometime in January. He's serious about boosting, just hasn't figured out which way he wants to go.

The defs aren't under wraps. Send me an email address and I'll send you the files. Do you have the Denso ECM?

Partial def here: https://github.com/TD-D/SubaruDefs/blob ... JM000B.xml add it to the 3.0R file in RR.

Wait til you see what I found for the rear. Mid January delivery.

All the parts arrived by Friday, so today, slamfest. Took me 4 hours start to finish with a lunch in there.

H&R Sport springs with Legacy/Forester front spring seats, MR rear lateral arms and while I was there, I replaced the front ball joints with Beck Arnley.

Here's the start up measurements front and rear with the Legacy struts and Outback springs.

The parts, except the ball joints.

Front measurement after, down another 5.5 cm over the Outback springs.

Rear Measurement, down 3 cm over the Outback springs.

Here's the VDC next to a stock height VDC (Victor's 02; he came by the shop while I was there.) It was still cloudy.

The sun came out by the time I finished the alignment and went for fuel before heading home.

It handles a lot tighter. Highway running is smooth. Gotta get used to the driveways and hard bumps on city streets. Hard turns allow the tire to scrub the fender. I'll fix that next week, the fender that is.

Alignment is -.3° camber front and -.7° rear. Toe in is set at 0.0, all wheels.
