hey nick!
how does the car drive after the raptor headers were installed?
like is there more low - mid range torque???
how many kw did the headers increase the car by ?

Car drives great, there feels like there is more mid - high end torque i think.

wouldnt have a clue about kw, didnt do a dyno before/after so no data to give unfortunately. car certainly feels quicker though. and if it isn't actually quicker, it certainly sounds faster 8)

This testimonial came in via email today and reproduced here

I've had the headers on for a couple of weeks now and just wanted to say I'm really impressed with the power gains. Third gear pulls quite a bit harder now and overall acceleration has noticeably improved. I actually have to be more careful with the throttle now as it tends to take off pretty quick once the VVT kicks in. Looking forward to seeing what an ecu tune does

Thats exactly what the headers do! If the owner identifies themselves here, well and good, if not then I am greatful for the feedback anyhow

I love the comeback here! Props to Vlad

Also great to hear you feel a respectable power gain from the headers and new tune, I too look forward to the results on this one. I guess it will be a few more months before you are in the 10 - 15c range all the time??

I am extremely happy with the design of the headers, the more time passes everyone finds the same gains I found during the R&D campaign on these. I also have to always say thanks to Edward from XRT for helping with data collection and interpretation so we ended up with the perfect design. Results driven design is best for NA where it is often hard to get gains.

I dont believe many of them except for one has bothered with a final tune/dyno

Would be good tho since we know the cars go very well

I have had some great email feedback .......... am happy with that

I think Vladares may be the next person to come up with some dyno stuff once the Bulgarian weather cools off a bit

I installed the headers a while ago and I have noticed a good difference since then. I drove the car with no cats at all while still putting the O2 sensors (no CEL for more than 3000km and LONG drives !!). The power goes all the way across the RPM range, especially from 3000RPM. hp/tq gets fluctuated or whatever you wanna call it after then because of the absence of cats to maintain the flow. I don't recommend running without cats.
I'm installing 100cpsi cats within these couple of days and will see how it goes, I expect great results. Tuning will be the next step. Ali
