CERAMIC COATED HEADER PRODUCTS from Raptor

From 1/02/2013 all the ceramic coated headers produced will be coated with CERAKOTE by AM7 Coatings. http://www.am7coatings.com/

Reason - the supplier is local to me cutting delivery times from weeks to just a few hrs of additional time. The product looks fantastic and the first set with this coating applied are shipping out to a customer today

PAINTED HEADER PRODUCTS from Raptor

From today all painted finish headers will be ........... just a normal black paint - same as many other suppliers in the extractor industry would do. I receive a set of headers from Liverpool Exhausts (genie) a couple of years ago and they featured a normal paint finish which burnt off over a week, been a fantastic product for my vehicle. I have been applying the VHT paint but cant see the benefit of the extra time I am putting into applying it. So, painted we go.

STANDARD COLOUR FOR BOTH PAINTED AND CERAKOTE HEADERS IS - BLACK

Brought Black ceramic coat into stock today

They look 100% identical to the black VHT painted headers, so much so I didnt bother with a photo. Very much a Matt finish

Got slugged a lot as they say Black costs more so on the losing end right now ... damnation. The new price will be $1100 for the Ceramic coated headers.

Ouch. How much difference does the ceramic coat really make?

Best for customers who drive on salted roads or those who need minimum heat radiation

For me, the VHT painted headers are totally fine, that what I use here in the wet tropics

The fitting instructions are now included in the first post for both manual and auto trans

Download them if you have purchased a set of headers - the files are right at the top before the first photo

For Bris the VHT painted item is a good choice

The ceramics (shiney silver) are only recommended for roads that are salted or for the customer who wants a product with a premium finish

No doubt you should have them fitted in a couple of weeks time and then for MORE power and possible retune to make sure you still have sufficient fuelling to match the extra air flow.
