I haven't, however process is the same in every respect. KiDo could tune for you as does for others - no problem

If you want me properly scope it out for you - let me know and it will be done

Hmmm interesting. I dont want to be a nuisance, i will ask another time when my bank account allows me

3rspecb wrote:WTA finally fitted. I went with Tim's frozen boost WTA cooler over the larger plasmaman WTA cooler as I have a strut brace and it looked like the larger plasmaman WTA cooler would hit it.

I had to reposition the bov (thanks to Scotty's Customs and juzzy) as I have a brake booster support and it would of fouled against the BOV.

Happy to report that boost is 9psi at 7000rpm and that the cooler was cold to touch after long hard driving. Car felt very strong all the way. Was good to rev her out consistantly as for the last month or so have been babying her until the wta cooler was fitted.

All that's left to do is mount the water resorvoir properly (waiting on a bracket from my mate James) and also for my brother in law to properly wire up the water pump to accessories.

Its been a long time coming but am happy to finally get here, thanks to all that have helped along the way and big thanks to Tim from Raptor Superchargers..

Retune will be early jan,

Wired the water pump to accessories this morning.. Went for another thrashing this evening. I couldn't believe how cold the wta cooler was, the charged intake pipe was hot to touch but the cooler was bloody cold :D . I'm hanging badly for my retune..

Car is booked in for a retune, early Jan :D .

With some slight modification to the rear edges, the engine cover fits.

Apologies for the crappy phone pics, had the setting on low.

I'm also experimenting with my spare engine cover :?

Took the car for another thrashing today, was happy with how the car performed in 30degree heat. Still amazed how cold the WTA cooler is after thrashing and through stop/start traffic.

We have a couple of customers moving forward with upgrades etc

The Frozenboost cooler will be the cooler supplied with all 2013 intercooled SC kits - more airflow/psi (9psi w/58mm pulley on SC). Raptor modifies this cooler so it fits properly to the 3.0 engine.

Kits are now all supplied with a slightly shorter drive SC drive belt

There is a price revision on the non intercooled kit - now $5200 + post - saving customers a couple of hundred bucks

Intercooler kits now supplied with a different parts to replace the aircon condenser isolation mounts

A Brisbane customer is making an install this coming week - non intercooled

As always

1. With supercharged cars - make sure you use good quality fuel
2. Don't push unintercooled cars hard in hot conditions - they perform very well but pushing hard in hot conditions has potential for a short pathway to problems. Same goes for an intercooled car if the tune isnt suited to hot conditions

Otherwise, much fun is being had by the SC drivers :)

this is great work guys. Congrats to those making the step with these kits.

Tim,

Do you do a W2A kit to suit the Lib GT's at all? Im tossing up whether to just increase the TMIC to something bigger, or bite the bullet and go the w2a for better efficiency.
Cheers

There are some impressive TIMIC upgrades out there, I saw on on an MRT photo recently - not sure who makes it but it was SWEEEEEEEEEET

Go with TMIC ATA, easiest for you and best for throttle response

None that I am aware of yet, he was very keen to get car retuned and was progressing in that direction immediately prior to Xmas. I am certain he will let us know when the deed is done

I reckon there will be some more power to be tuned out of it when the time comes. I found with WTA untuned the previous car I owned, felt perky like it does first thing in the morning before heat soak sinks in, but ALL of the time, not just in the morning. Once tuned, I reckon there is a possibility of more timing added and some more kw to add too.

Looking forward to hearing the outcome.
Cheers
