I dont have a system on my own vehicle yet
It is my approach from the very first kit I made (Mitsubishi Lancer CE) to always fix the exhaust system first, no matter how long it takes me, measuring power gains and fault finding all part of this first step. I know better than anyone how much an exhaust contributes to the output of a supercharger installation and how it reduces heat loads on the motor as well.
As most of you know I have only just completed the headers (design, make a few sets, test for fit, test for power/tuning compatibility etc) and am offering those for everyone, not just SC users. We have the technology
Next step is to sort out a mid and rear section which is slightly sporty in note but offers good interior sound suppression, drone not acceptable. Again test and tune.
A good exhaust system may liberate in excess of 40Kw (very conservative) on a supercharged Liberty 3.0 , getting 30Kw on NA is the biggest suprise I have recieved in a while! So much on a small NA engine
Final step, install the supercharger and tune, this is the part/technology I know so well so I leave it last as it offers no challenge in particular, especially as it is already performing well on customer cars
