on a 2.5 impreza, Tradewind probably knows the car from rs2.5 forums.
The wavy powerline is cause the piggyback ecu kept getting the timing overridden by the stock ecu, But i believe he has fixed that

what's the boost level on the RS impreza kit?
170 ATW = about 220KW flywheeel on a subie

As for falcadore comment. A 4 year old falcon is as nice of a place to be in as a gen 4 liberty will ever be, and infinitely better for eating up the highway miles. Its just something stupid subaru owners have in their head thinking they drive something special. I'm guilty owning a few :p But at least I know a falcon is a lightyear better at a lot of tasks and second hand is as cheap as chips.

Just saying. Keen to see supercharger dyno's from reputable non rexnet workshops. Send a car to Mark Jacobson or Matt Spry so we can see what they really put out.

Couldnt Agree with you more brother. Ive worked on the front line at ford, and the build quality on the new FG is flawless.
At the end of the day people brush them off coz there a "ford". Just like BMW owners brush Subies. ( Hate to say it, but its true)

for reference: this is without the lighter internals, and with the old original biggest pulley. 7psi peak boost i believe, on a 61mm pulley. the standard non-intercooled kits now come with 59mm pulleys.

now, as for the curves. you'll notice how it seems to peak and then trough and repeat. having a chat to the guys at the shop they reckoned that because of the AFR being too high and the moristech being a piggyback unit, the stock ECU was pulling timing, the moristech was fighting it and recovering, and then the stock ecu was pulling it again. hence the troughs/valleys and then peaks.

also worth a note is the AFR. they reckoned anything above 12.5:1 was in danger territory - clearly either my stock fuel pump or stock injectors are being maxxed out.

long story short, for a couple hundred bucks on a fuel pump/injectors, and then giving it a tune would see 200kw no problems at all.

to be honest, by the time you put some TWE headers, a 2.5 inch catback, cammed it & put the high boost/intercooler on i wouldn't be surprised to see 300kw at the engine.

all in all, there is LOTS headroom.

however the car is actually up for sale at the moment - will be returned to 100% stock-as-a-rock. target for the track car is under 1min at both symmons & basky.

It is possible the intercooler system WTA will be an off the shelf item from one of Australia's big name intercooler brands

I doubt in that case it will be just $1300, it could well be more .....but it will be direct bolt in kit with high standard of performance, fit and finish.

For the moment it's $1300 and will be made by us if required. I expect within a month the other system will be ready at which point it will be the system on offer

The next batch of Liberty SC systems will be manufactured in mid June.

As mentioned a few posts back, feel free to make your own cooler system, just follow the guidelines for a successful install

Ed

Is that result with the high flow injectors in place?
