Production

The development is pretty well sorted - I have my pressure numbers and I have early power numbers, I have the correct acoustics. There is a final touch needed to get cool air always onto the job

The production was going to be headache - unexpected breakthrough means we can proceed to product release soon

So with headers and a tune were talking well over 100 horsepower per litre at the flywheel.

Not bad from a 3.0lit production engine!

Are you referring to the large black chamber bolted to the throttle body?

I can assure it is staying firmly in place with the Raptor Ram Intake CAI

It absolutely promotes a smooth air feed into the throttle body and poses ZERO restriction to the engine, it is a very big benefit, to remove it is to not understand the system

I'm following this with great interest.

Also, are you testing along the intake to identify where the drop is occurring?

I have definitely not gone over it piece by piece, however if I was a betting man i would place the blame squarely on the amount of area/airflow the air filter offers, its pretty small. The Suzuki GTi 1.3 Swift that I owned back in 1988 had an air filter that big - almost.

The first of the CAI components are on their way - next step to finish the whole affair off properly

Nice work Tim, only thing is you may sell less SC kits now. :P

Seriously, good luck with the CAI sales, you deserve success. :good:

Thanks Pudz

If I can assist all the 3.0s onto something greater via product that actually delivers the goods then it will cover the forgotten engine and allow it to shine as it should

Its all happening for the 3.0 in Australia -

I can see the 3.6s are in need of same in the Gen V cars, will do something about that too as time permits

Here is a pic of the CAI in place - well part of it, bit of secret work to happen

I thought this pic showed nothing at first - but the following can be seen

1. It is compatible with the engine cover
2. You can see the MAF is underneath - wires visible only
3. The material of the trick piece is also visible.
4. The increasing diameter of the piece
