I got the flu at the moment and it suited the customer better to work from Thurs to Sun next week - otherwise the kit is 100% ready to GO.

By then hopefully flu is gone too - freaking bugs

Well I am well into my customers installation - MY07 3.0 RB 6sp

1. Removed all unnecessary items from around engine (airbox/s etc)
2. Installed the WRX injectors, very easy, only real hassle is removing passenger side injector shield. Bit of wriggling this way and that
3. Installed the dual airfilter and airfilter mounting system
4. Installed SC mounting brackets and the SC itself, belt not on yet

Total time so far is 1hr and 20mins

Tools used, a standard handyman tool kit from TENG TOOLS and an allen key set, nothing else - so far

Well today wasnt nearly so productive

I had a bit of a chew on my own design for those radiators

5. install all the pressure side items, WTA, airflow meter, BOV, silicon
6. Liquid hoses to and from supercharger trans
7. Then installed the intercooler radiators. Well, this MY07 has certain little changes that make the other style of isolation mount for the A/C just simply impossible to fit. So, 4 x redesigns and tests later I finally have the radiators installed, the upside of this is there is now a new part that will suit all models from 04 - 08 and takes 2 mins to fit, no drilling , no measuring - nothing, just 2 x 6mm bolts and then bolt the intercooler rads in.

Time for todays efforts 2hrs and 20mins - this could have been just 1hr and 30 at the most if the A/C isolator mounts had fitted as designed. The update cars have a different plastic fitting beside head light which totally changes the game - all sorted now

Things left to do:

Run intercooler hoses and install the reservior

Lastly - wire up the intercooler pump to 12V

Taking some photos here and there, but not much time really

Yes mate, the one and only

Sold the AU and got myself a Liberty GT. New owner loves the car. He got it resprayed, new leather interior and is treating it better than I ever could. Here is some pics. Sorry for the thread hijack btw http://80kms.smugmug.com/Machines/2012- ... &k=wFzc26R

The raptor is still going great on that car too. Thanks again for helping us out at the time.
Cheers

Well, I put in another 2 hrs on the install and we are all done

Car started and ran very well from the get go even tho I had the NA tune combined with high flow injectors

Have now loaded the XRT first ROM, car starts and idles fine and acceleration is quite extreme, needs some work on the ROM for other run conditions and we will be away

Photos coming soon

Some pics

Tuning with XRT is started.

Now I know WHY people are loving this kit, the torque from 2000rpm is unbeliveable, the torque hole that is often spoken of(2000 - 4000rpm) --------- WHAT TORQUE HOLE? You could have 2 less gears in the gearbox and feel you have ample torque for a smooth driving experience under any conditions.

I am NOT shooting for big power on this car just yet, will come to that in a month or so. For now, a good solid tune a little bit conservative at the top will do just fine

More info coming

Great job Tim. Fantastic to see this package making impressive progress so early. Water to air ftw. This is the way to go if y want boost from an n/a car.

This very short video is proof of the compressor pressure of the Raptor SC kit for the H6 Liberty/Legacy

The pulley is 58mm

The measured pressure is actually 9.5psi @7000rpm, and 10+ by 7200.

The dyno for the intercooled system NOW installed - NOT THE SYSTEM SHOWN in pics above

This is the Plazmaman system, other system was MUCH more powerful but couldnt be tuned

So here we are at 5 psi
