Here we go - all the way from the UK. I sent 2 sets there of the version 2 header.

This came by email this morning

By the way, the headers are fantastic, and with the new custom exhaust, performance and sound have improved greatly

With a remap I have seen 296bhp @ the flywheel

Given that the motor is rated at about 230 -240 flywheel hp stock, results are excellent

Can these be fitted DIY or is an exhaust shop needed?

If you can cut and weld then you can DIY :)
Probably best to get an exhaust shop to do it though if your welding skills resemble mine.
Although I have custom piping after the cats here, they are in the stock position so you need to cut back the stock cat housing to weld in a either a 2.25" section or a 2.5" section. You should have flanges for both. These would need to be welded onto the new section. Sorry the pic is a bit out of focus. Mine are done in 2.25" as the exhaust guys said if I went 2.5" that it would get too close to the O2 sensor.

Thanks McDoof.

I know nothing about Subaru exhausts and assumed they would be the same length as the stock ones and would just be a bolt-on job.

The stock system is one piece from the headers through to the front split. The left hand branch then incorporates the 3rd catalytic converter after the split. The right bolts onto that.

Interested in a new set up but don't want noisy droning inside or to loud outside, just a better note. How are these for droning etc? And that eBay listing is ended :(
