RAPTOR SUPERCHARGER FOR LIB 3.0

Just after more power but thought that more air would be better?.. But after all there is slot of ratio stuff and for air to fuel that I don't understand haha... Also on another note.. What is the expected engine wear like with the sc'ing? And stronger internals needed to keep an h6 going longer while having the compression and parts it comes with stock?

The chances - I would say nil

How much of the parts do you want to buy - full kit or partial?

I have a couple of parts that are seconds that are totally fine for use. PM me with your request and what you want to do. See if we can join the dots up

Well, just spent an hr looking at the intercooler solution

The PWR barrel I have only has 2.5" in and out, that will not do for this application!

We will have 76mm and I think for better or worse this cooler will be the choice, have tried all my other favourites but they just wont fit in the odd shaped area

https://www.plazmaman.com/shop/index.ph ... itemId=219

Gives you an idea of the cost of items that will go into this cooler kit plus the fabrication to make it all fit to the AFM body etc

Further study

It appears the PWR barrel is the go, but it needs mods as the 2.5" intake and outlet size is not enough for this job

Does everyone's Liberty have a "Liberty" name badge stuck on boot lid on drivers side about in line with reversing light? Mine has no Lib badge at all

Yes. The previous owner must have removed yours.

OK

Have taken notice of Liberty's this past 2 weeks, several havent had a badge at all - so could it be the case some dont have them from new??

Intercooler work still proceeding VERY slowly as time permits

No, they all come with the badge. Those people must all have removed them. It's been fairly trendy to "debadge" cars for the last couple of years.

Hey guys I'm really keen on a SC kit so Just wondering on any updates and final power output? Also what rough cost is after fittment and tuning? Any other engine work needed? And can someone tuning in a supercharger now get other people's tuning charts? To save time and money?... Just thaught rather that searching through all 30 pages someone could post a final comment?

Cheers Ben

Hi Ben

The current customers are sitting around the 175 - 180kw at the wheels as measured on the HPF dyno in Victoria where they have been tuned. HPF do have these tunes on file and you would think you should be more or less able to flash it in and pretty close to the money. Your other choice is XTR - current pricing for the Xmas period is around US$1200 and he works with you directly - you would need a TACTRIX cable - I do have one in stock at the moment if you choose to have one

There are no material changes to anything in the non intercooled kit other than the alloy bracket has been given a redesign to reduce weight and look better -

I will spec the kit (all variants) with a slightly shorter drive belt, this is something I should have done by now but nonetheless it wont take me a moment once I get to it

Several customers are now waiting for the intercooled version - yes this costs more that the non intercooled kit - I can easily enough understand if a customer cant afford the whole lot in one go and opts for the IC later

No ENGINE work needed

You should open up the exhaust from the cats - back for better flow - something from XFORCE is great

The prices on the website http://www.raptorsc.com.au/kits.php?id=58 include EVERY material part EXCEPT for the tuning.

Fitting is another scheme - do it yourself and the cost is zilch, ask a shop to do it and I am sure they could find $600 charge to fit it even tho it is VERY simple system

Bring on the questions - current owners - feel free to tell it as it is

Tim:

With the IC version, will the MAF sit at the throttle or after the IC into the throttle?

We I wouldn't be buying a kit for a good 10 months or so because I need to get my full lisence but what are the estimated kw from intercooled option.. They say 230kw on the website.. That true?
