RAPTOR SUPERCHARGER FOR LIB 3.0

WELL, how about changing the sparkplugs on one of these 3.0s. I can absolutely confirm that it is FAR FAR easier to fit the supercharger kit than it is to replace the sparkplugs!

All done but what a BITCH the rear passenger side plug is .............. crazy!

An oil change on engine and trans and we are good to go

Prospective customer: "How hard is it to fit the SC kit"

Raptor Reply: "If you change your own spark plugs then are you are fully qualified to fit the SC kit"!!!!!

Anyone had drama's with setting up the logger stuff through ROMRAIDER - I sure am

The details to do this seem very sketchy - have read the stuff on Eds threads but none the wiser on how to make it work

Anyone can help??

This is off topic but I've got RomRaider V 0.5.2 Beta/ECU Logger installed on my computer which works. But I also have RomRaider ECU Editor and when I open it up,
it gives me a pop up saying..... Editor Configuraition
ECU Definitions not configured
Go on line to down load the last definition files
I have gone on the site but i'm still not sure what is wrong with it and how i can fix it.
Cheers George :)

You will need to download the ecu def file. Not sure you will see your rom though.

Logger Def: http://www.romraider.com/forum/download ... p?id=14557
ECU Def: http://www.romraider.com/forum/download ... 5e5bc835af

EXACTLY my issue as well and I have the definition files etc

This stuff isnt user friendly at all - great way to waste your time

All you need to do is just run the logger. There will be no need for the ecu def.

When a customer comes to me, I do everything for them using teamviewer for them. All their have to do is follow my instructions.

What are you trying to do?

You have a fully supported ecu, so looking at your rom is as simple as downloading and extracting the def files and pointing ecu editor to the directory.

Everyone should do it as it's actually very interesting and not that hard to understand.

OK

Learning as we go hey

That ROMRAIDER isnt straight forward for a nubee, once its setup its half ok but it still saves files to the wrong place in spite of Ed reconfiguring it a few times

However, we are logging, emailing and uploading versions.

Progress is happening, I am probably a bit fast at getting the data but Ed seems to be able to deliver an improved file not too long after

Left a coil retaining bolt loose yesterday during plug change, that brought on a miss and a check engine light for a bit of heart starting action during the tuning process, refitted that and uploaded the latest V and on we continue

So, how are we going with the Lib?

We are tuning on 95 octane BP fuel

Progress at this location

I not think anyone replied to this picture.. Would this be a very good upgrade to do with the sc kit?

If you can afford it - then go for it

The stock plastic manifold has a LOT of advantages and probably the alloy item shown doesnt offer any gains on a stock motor.

Plastic all the way for me

Finky

Engine bay same all the way up till 2011 from what i have seen, 3.6 is same outside

A plenum like that "may" help the peak power but with runners still stock I cant see torque changing much anywhere, its a small motor so anything to big will probably kill all low to mid torque completely. The thermal propertys will never equal plastic so you will have some thermal losses that you didnt have ...............

But I am not exactly sure what you are after.
