4GEN Liberty and Legacy 3.0 Exhaust headers

Hi guys,
If everyone doesn't mind, can they please post up how much their exhaust shops are quoting/charging? I got a quote today for $800>$900 (depending on how hard the bolts are to get undone), which includes installing them, custom SS pipes to the single inlet, sensor bungs and 1x 100cell cat.
I probably could get it a bit cheaper if I get one of those magnaflow cats, but im sure it would be negligible.

if youre getting the basic metal magnaflow cats, they should set you back just over $100 on ebay/tuffcarparts per cat.

from other quotes, etc it seems that labour should be about 300-400. i think your quote is a bit steep.

Mine are being fitted next Thursday. Not bothering with a quote. I have had a referral for a shop in Adelaide that does good work, and I just WANT THEM ON!!!!!!
I will post the costs and experience next weekend. But the above quote/comment has made me a little apprehensive!
Mine is a header install only, stock on back from there, so I hope it's not too costly.

TIm, great work on having this organised. They look great and if the gains are as good as you suggest, I can't wait until next week!

Mine were fitted today , cost $500 about 5 hours labour to fit and install headers and 2 x h/f cats and pipe work .
First impression when I first heard it was f#rk .
Wow the sound was awesome , sounds grunty and bitey.
Yes I have a little drone but after a tune and if needed a long resonator hot dog ,but I will let the whole system bed in and run for a couple of weeks before I decide if I need to do any more work (as the whole exhaust system is new)
Driving was as expected ,powerful and smooth , haven't had a chance to get on the open road yet but in the city ,all I can say is f...wow! Rest assured once fitted you will happy dancing and smiling with every drive...I know I am ,

Great to hear most people have their systems. Seems like forever they were coming - now all done and dusted already.

Your box is down there, seems they may have tried to deliver Thurs, obviously today is out so it seems Monday will be next attempt. We will sort it one way or another

You might be able to have them delivered to a nominated news agent and pick up at your leisure.

Some courier companies will do this.

Yes normally, however on the odd occasion if you havent had a tune it can come up with a code for catalyst.

Next time I wont offer a Courier option, they are typically hopeless - all of them

AUS POST - not one issue at all with their header delivery's.

We accept parcels from Toll at our newsagency, but only up to a certain size. However if a set of these arrived at my shop, I may find it hard not to fit them to my own car, and put the factory headers back in the box for theccustomer to collect......just kidding
