started off with ultrex mufflers - little drone, 20-30% louder

added xforce stainless steel center & y pipe to ultrex mufflers - quite a lot of drone, pretty loud

removed ultrex mufflers, added STI mufflers to the xforce system - no drone (virtually like stock), only loud when you give it the beans.

so damn happy with the current setup.

Exactly my setup. Bloody love it.

Keep in mind with Sti mufflers being restrictive as compared to, say Tcp Quads or other high-flows, you may not get the best out of ur headers, hi-flow cats,other exhaust bits, Raptor Cai, E85 and Kido Tune upgrades.

3.0R stock centre resonator is much less restrictive than Sti mufflers. I think keeping this resonator is still the best way to keep the upgraded H6 exhaust noise down.

I've been told mufflers wont restrict the exhaust system (well when we are talking sub 200kw atw figures, not like your sc beast!)

He contacted me today so I know who did it, I'll call them during the week about unlocking it.

FYI: I can unlock it/bypass it
