When mine were fitted the shop used gasket goo as well as the new gaskets. Is this necessary? Theres orange stuff squeezed out everywhere haha

I think I have reused the original gaskets on the wife's RX at least three times, and only used sealant the last time I refitted the headers (those Borla replicas just keep on cracking :() and they never leaked.

I don't use that orange sealant, looks messy if you use more than a smear so I use CRC Maniseal.

HEADS UP

We are still a few weeks away from have the the product ready to mail even tho shipping to AUS is now underway, shipping time + customs nonsense can take a bit

I think to make life easy I will provide a 48hr advance notice that I will list them on Ebay, then just buy your headers and they get posted out. Easy payment method, shipping addresses etc and everyone gets a fair go so far as i can see

For how long these new headers have taken I don't mind that I paid double the price, least I have them lol. Hope everyone enjoys them though :)

Given you already have some, what is your feedback on them?

That's a very good point. The header you bought (mild steel) remains in production, its only the cost that turns people away from it - always the problem with manufacturing in AUS - COST!

Don't count on it. With up to 7 days transit to Boat time, and then typically two weeks shipping time, then clearance from customs, etc

Buy a tactrix and flash a revised tune once the headers are on like everyone else.
It's also good habit to check how the car is running via LV's.

I only just started and it's surprising how much you'll actually learn about your car.

Yeah I agree, I would have loved to get headers for cheaper but how long people of had to wait for this latest batch from the manufacturer im glad I got the old more expensive set lol

First customer in the UK now has Raptor Performance headers for his 3.0 Legacy

He went the ceramic coated mild steel type.
